Búðakirkja Church is Located on the south side of Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Iceland

The Photograph

It's called the black church since it is covered with tar pitch, which keeps the wood from deteriorating quickly.

It was originally built in 1703 and rebuilt in 1848.

Limited Edition Print

This is a limited edition restricted to a series of 10 prints. After the series has expired no further images of that work will be made.

The purchase price of an image may increase as it approaches the series expiry.

The Print

Prints are produced to the highest standard and printed on high-quality Fuji Matt papers printed on professional C-Type printers to match the image and ensure excellent longevity.

All prints come with a white border to allow for functionality when framing or mounting.

The image will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

If choosing the framing option each shot comes in a recommended frame colour.
